Our Canadian Holiday - September 2003

Main Index

This holiday was long-hoped-for but quickly planned.  We were constrained by the time we could take off work, especially as Bernard had started a new job in July.  So we decided to do what we could in the time available, and we attempted to do 50:50 sightseeing and finding family.

Interestingly, it was 25 years since Bernard’s parents had had their “holiday of a lifetime” with Ron and Margaret Platt in Canada; they had done a similar tour in reverse.
