It’s
quite difficult to imagine what you’d like to know! And of course there
are significant dangers in publishing “too much” on the internet.
Of
the eleven of us –
v Two of us moved home in Oct
2011, from Woodley in Berkshire to Embsay in North Yorkshire, and are “retired”
– i.e. permanently perplexed as to however we found time to go to work. We
celebrated our Ruby Wedding in 2009, and our
Golden Wedding in 2019. We are heavily involved with Embsay Library, and Skipton Baptist Church.
v Adrian works as a senior
paramedic in Yorkshire (based in Wakefield), married to Angela (a former NHS
nurse director responsible for Trauma and A&E at a hospital in Sheffield,
now retired) with their son Cameron born in April 2007, and daughter Sinead
born in May 2009. Cameron started school
in September 2011, middle school in 2017 and senior school in 2020, and Sinead
in 2013 and 2019 respectively. See their own website.
v Chris is a
Logistics/operations manager, and he and Helen live with their son Matthew
(born August 2007), daughter Charlotte (August 2009), and sons James (September
2012) and William (May 2015) in rural Buckinghamshire between Thame and
Bicester. Matthew also started school
September 2011 moving to secondary in 2018 and leaving school in 2024,
Charlotte in 2013/2020, James in 2017/2024 and William in 2019!

in September 2003 to visit Canada, and met quite a few
of our at-least-geographically distant relatives. Travelogue
